Chongqing Qingling Casting Co., Ltd. (QLC), a subsidiary of Qingling  Motors ( Group ), is a joint  venture  established  by Qingling Group, ISUZU, and Automobile Foundry, with a capital of 43.34 million US dollars. QLC mainly produces a variety of blanks for  engine  castings , transmissions  and  axle assemblies. Its annual  production  capacity  is  30,000 tons , and its products feature  high  strength , light  weight  and  thin wall. QLC has advanced equipment sets made in Germany , Switzerland and United States  and the  state-of-the-art casting  technique  from Japan, along with physicochemical center, product development center and mold  center . Aiming at both domestic and foreign markets , QLC takes  the  lead in  localizing production of cylinder block and cylinder  head, and is the first Chinese casting manufacturer to export high-quality engine castings to Japan since 1996. QLC was honored as “ Model Enterprise of Casting Exportation” by China Foundry Association in 2003, and its castings are well recognized in both domestic and overseas markets.
